Frequently Asked Questions
How long did it take to make it?
Took about a week of planning and another few days to construct everything in the garage.
How long have you been doing things like this?
I've been involved in modular synthesis and sound art for about two years.
How much did this cost to do?
Very little! It was constructed mostly from scrap wood in the garage and modules I already had.
Have you done other things like this?
I have several modular synth-based art projects up on Instagram that are more or less similar to this.
Are there plans available to make this? Do you sell this?
I'm working on a short run of a similar case that will be available on Etsy soon.
What’s next?
So much! My project backlog is growing and I'm moving into a new workspace this month that should really open up my prototyping possibilities.
Resoures?
Check out Adafruit - they have a great selection of sensors, microcontrollers, and tools for tinkerers.
